Built in Iraq, for Iraq

WhatsApp API for Iraq

Most WhatsApp APIs assume you have an international credit card, a verified Meta Business account, and weeks to spare. SPWP is built for the way business actually works in Iraq: pay in Iraqi Dinar however suits you, pair any number you already own by scanning a QR code, and start sending in minutes.

Why teams in Iraq choose SPWP

  • Pay in Iraqi Dinar

Billing is in Iraqi Dinar. Pay through the FIB app for instant automatic checkout, transfer to our Super Qi account, or settle in cash — message us on WhatsApp and we confirm it manually. No international card, no currency conversion, no failed payments at renewal.

  • Live in minutes, not weeks

Meta's Cloud API needs business verification and template approval before your first message. SPWP needs a QR scan. Any WhatsApp number you control — including a number already in daily use — is ready in under a minute.

  • No per-conversation fees

Meta charges per 24-hour conversation window, which makes high-volume notification traffic unpredictable to budget. SPWP uses flat-rate plans, so the cost of an OTP campaign is the same whether it converts or not.

  • Support in your language

We answer in Arabic, Kurdish and English, on WhatsApp — the same app you are integrating. Not a ticket queue in a different timezone.

Who uses it

Software agencies in Erbil, Baghdad and Sulaymaniyah shipping messaging features for clients; e-commerce stores sending order and delivery updates; clinics and labs sending appointment reminders; banks and fintechs sending OTP codes with higher delivery rates than SMS on Iraqi networks.

How it works

Pair a WhatsApp number by scanning a QR code, generate an API key scoped to that number, then POST JSON to a REST endpoint. Inbound messages and delivery receipts come back to your server as HMAC-signed webhooks. Everything is documented with OpenAPI 3.0 and examples in cURL, JavaScript, Python and PHP.

Coverage and reach

The API is reachable globally over HTTPS — pricing and onboarding are optimised for Iraq and the Middle East, but nothing is geo-restricted. Send to any country your WhatsApp number can reach.

Questions from Iraqi teams

Is this legal and safe to use for a business in Iraq?

You are sending from a WhatsApp number you own, to people who expect to hear from you. Keep to opted-in recipients and reasonable volumes and it behaves like any other business account. Sending unsolicited bulk messages risks WhatsApp blocking the number — that is a WhatsApp policy matter, not a platform limit, and our rate limits are designed to keep you well inside it.

Can I pay without a credit card?

Yes. The FIB app handles automatic checkout in IQD. If you would rather use Qi Card, transfer to our Super Qi account and message us on WhatsApp — we confirm it and extend your subscription manually, usually within minutes. Cash through your account manager works the same way. More gateways are being added.

What happens to my WhatsApp session if I stop paying?

Your sessions stay connected. After the period ends you get a 24-hour grace window with the API still working; after that API access is blocked but the number stays paired, so paying restores access instantly without re-scanning the QR code.
